Yesterday I downloaded a free sculpting program called Sculptris. What amazed me about this particular piece of magic voodoo software is how it is able to treat its geometry like clay. You can essentially start from a sphere, pulling from the surface without ever having to worry about your topology. It dynamically tesselates so you can keep pulling branches of geometry to your heart's content.
This particular creation does not really take advantage of the technology mentioned above. I wanted to try and see how the program's brushes interact with geometry. I must say that I am loving how smooth the crease brush runs through versus other packages that, to me, feel a little less dynamic.
I plan to retopologize this quick sketch and produce an actual finished piece out of him.
